Chinese Ribbon Dance
This is just an image I pulled out of my head of a ribbon dance being performed during the Spring Festival. This is one of my favorite illustrations. I dunno...I guess it's because I have two daughters.
The character in the background is Spring. Indicating that the dance is happening during the spring festival. There are several groups in SF Chinese community that teach, promote and perform Chinese folk dancing. They are the Chinese Folk Dance Association, Chung Ngai Dance Troupe and the Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company.
