Dragon Parade At Night. The parades in Chinatown are all at night. There are two big parades a year. The Chinese Lunar New Year parade and the Double Ten which is controlled by the Guomindang party. Being a former lion dancer, I have participated in many parades. I remember doing the dragon head several times during my high school days. Especially that night right after I played a junior varsity football game, which I played both ways, offense and defense. Man.... was I really in shape back then.
