Chinese Musical Instruments The only Chinese instruments I can really play is the drums, cymbals and gong for the lion dance. I tried learning the flute but didn't get far. There's a pretty good store in SF Chinatown where you can purchase musical instruments and learn as well. The Clarion Music Center...they're right on the corner of Waverly Place and Sacramento Street (the old boom boom wuih). And it's not only Chinese musical instruments, but as many kinds as you can imagine, including the didjeridu from Australia. You can even purchase a lion head from them too.
